When you are at the 24th Australian Street Rod Nationals in the beautiful Fraser Coast Region of Queensland, come a little early or stay little later and enjoy what this area has to offer.
Discover the historic city of Maryborough one of Australia’s earliest ports of entry on the Eastern Coast. Visit the old wharf precinct and enjoy in the Bond Store and Military museum. Wonder around and take in the early history – Maryborough is also the birthplace of Mary Poppins author Helen Lyndon Goff!
Take a short drive to Hervey Bay, and take a tour to Fraser Island, the World’s largest sand island with spectacular rain forests and freshwater lakes. Cruising along the 8km Esplanade is a must do with its many shops and eateries on one side and the stunning oceanfront on the other.

Early Bird Cruise
Bundaberg here we come
There will be an early bird cruise to Bundaberg to visit the home of Bundy Rum, a factory is a must do with free tasting after.
Then there’s Hinkler Hall of Aviation which pays tribute to Bert Hinkler as a pioneer of flight in the early 20th century.
Bargara beach and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks are also worth a visit. Morning tea will be supplied by Rum City Rods and Customs at their Clubhouse.
